Miele Olympus Canister Vacuum Cleaner, S2121

What makes a Miele S2121 Olympus one of the best and most basic model of the Miele Vacuum Cleaner.

Miele vacuums come in a variety of different models, starting at $299 and up to $1499.  The higher you go in pricing, the more features you will get.  There are models that come standard with power nozzles, HEPA filters, floor brushes - the list goes on.  The Miele Olympus may be the most basic machine out there but it has the same exact motor as all the other (and pricier) vacuum models.  So whichever model you go for, you know you have a great and powerful Miele motor.

Here are some of the features with the Miele Olympus.

- Rotary suction control
This allows you to change the motor speed by turning a knob.  You can leave the machine on full power (which most people do) but if you are cleaning curtains and don't want the full power, just lower the motor speed and it won't be so powerful for your delicate items.

- Vortex Motor
Miele's vortex motor packs in 1200 watts of power and is not ear deafening.

- Air Clean Filter
Made from multi ply material, the air clean filter will trap 99.95% of dust particles.

Accessories include a Miele SBD350-3 Combination Rug & Floor Tool, as well as a metal telescopic pipe, stretch hose and a VarioClip which snaps on 3 included attachments onto the hose for easy storage.

With this model, you can purchase other floor brushes and can even add in a HEPA filter if you'd like.  You cannot add a electric power nozzle since you need an electric hose to power it.  There are other models that come standard with a power nozzle if you decide you need one.  If you have mostly floors and light rugs, the Miele Olympus is the right vacuum for you.

The vacuum itself is $329 and qualifies for free shipping on our site.
